My internship at Aaron’s Presents gave me the opportunity to inspire our future leaders in pursuing a career they’re truly passionate about. With working closely with Leah, the founder, I had the chance to contribute in making a positive impact within the youth community. I learned what it took to conduct and design for large-scale events and provide my design thinking towards a greater cause. The work I did at Aaron’s Presents consisted of conceptualizing and designing all print and digital materials for their newest annual fundraising event Aaron’s Presents on Broadway as well as having created social media posts to support the organization’s community to a virtual transition.
A veteran of four Broadway shows, including two original companies, Nicholas Ward continues to captivate audiences with his extraordinary charm and talent. He just recently finished his run with the original cast of the hit Broadway musical Frozen, where he could be seen nightly as Elsa & Anna’s loving father, King Agnarr. Nicholas can now be seen in another Disney Broadway phenomenon, The Lion King, where you may catch him in the iconic role of Mufasa, Simba’s father, on various nights.
Nicholas continues to evolve and create new opportunities to share his unique gifts, much like Aaron’s Presents dreams for all of its youth participants. He could not imagine a more perfect setting than an evening bringing together such a diverse group of people, benefiting a program that helps youth to actively engage in their communities and realize their important role in the world.
